Both reviewers experienced smooth, on-time bathroom projects with respectful installers and clear communication. Walk In Tubs Local paired accessible walk-in tubs with skilled installation and fair pricing, leaving customers confident and satisfied.
Most reviewers praise Ernest and his crew for professionalism, timely work, and reasonable pricing. However, a meaningful minority report serious problems: incomplete work, delays stretching months beyond schedule, water damage from poor installation, and unresponsive follow-up when issues emerge post-completion. The gap between five-star and one-star reviews suggests inconsistency in execution or accountability. Kitchen and bathroom work appear to carry higher risk; recent five-star reviews focus on professionalism, but the most detailed complaints involve bathroom installations (shower wall failure) and kitchen quality (cabinet doors, hinges, corners).
Reviewers describe sales consultants Ryan Lau and Daniel Lavallee as deeply knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely interested in understanding customer needs and budgets. Staff walk customers through options with clarity, earning trust and confidence before work begins. Customers praise the company's family ownership, quality materials, and trained workers across window, door, plumbing, and bathroom projects. Financing options and promotional pricing flexibility appear standard. No installation complaints surface in the reviews.
Two recent reviews (2024-2025) report critical failures: abandoned work with withheld deposits and plumbing errors causing structural damage years later. Earlier reviews (2019-2021) praised professionalism and cleanliness. The pattern suggests serious operational breakdown or inconsistency.
Most reviews praise Alex and his team for fast, fairly priced bathroom and kitchen work done on time. One serious complaint from years ago accuses them of abandoning a Colorado job and keeping money; another older one-star review calls them scammers, though detail is limited and the business operates in Hartford.
Review evidence is limited: only two one-star reviews spanning 9 years detail long waits for help and no follow-up on orders. The current 3.3 rating reflects a split between five-star and low-star feedback, but recent review text is scarce.
Most customers praise Mike and his crew for clean, skilled bathroom work completed on time and within budget. However, a significant minority report missed appointments, poor communication, and office unresponsiveness that soured the experience before work even began.
Some customers praise staff friendliness and quick checkout experiences. Major complaints center on missed delivery/install timelines, staff failing to call back on unresolved issues, and inconsistent product knowledge across the store.
Two reviews show a sharp divide. One praises the team's friendliness and workmanship; the other documents a seven-by-seven-foot bathroom stalled for three months with repeated incomplete work, missed appointments, and abandoned sections despite the owner's assurances. Evidence is thin overall, but the pattern of delays and rework is clearly stated.

Reviewers consistently praise Devion and his team for picking up calls after hours, showing up on schedule, explaining work clearly, and matching existing materials with precision. FR Kitchen & Bath earns consistent praise for turning tight spaces into beautiful, functional rooms. Reviewers credit Lisa, Tito, and the design team with clear communication, problem-solving, and meticulous execution across kitchens, bathrooms, and multi-room projects. One recent review flagged interpersonal strain and financial caution with specific team members. Most projects incorporate custom cabinetry, tile work, and full renovation scope. The business appears to excel at managing complex remodels in compact urban footprints and delivering finishes that stay on timeline and budget.
Tony's Home Improvements delivers strong work across renovations and installations, with most clients praising reliability, attention to detail, and honest service. One significant negative experience cited delays, budget creep, unmet promises, and poor communication, but 93% of reviews are five-star, suggesting this is an outlier rather than the norm.

Three reviews over nine years paint a consistent picture: customers faced delivery delays (7 weeks quoted, then fulfilled next day elsewhere), lost orders, and undisclosed installation fees. One flooring job cost $2,000 more than initially presented; staff responses to complaints were dismissive or rude.
North End Kitchen & Bath handles countertop fabrication and fixture installation with strong attention to responsiveness and fair pricing. Most reviewers praise Robin and the team's professionalism and speedy work; one old complaint cites a broken follow-up process after an initial site visit.
Joe the Pro delivers fast, honest work and clear explanations, with staff sending photos during jobs. Two one-star reviews highlight incomplete jobs and poor follow-up after full upfront payment, raising concern about accountability when problems arise.
Reviewers consistently praise Wilmer and the team for careful work, fast turnaround, and fair pricing across painting, cabinetry, and fixture installation. One negative review warns against trusting them for drywall, citing gaps and incomplete insulation prep, though their broader portfolio shows strong attention to detail and communication.
Evidence is limited: two reviews offer opposing views. One architect firm praised selection and service; a homeowner reported fixture durability problems, quality flaws on arrival, and undisclosed custom fees that doubled costs.
One reviewer praised the owner's carpentry skill and bathroom expertise as top-tier and reliable. Another reported aggressive phone follow-up after a referral, which soured their impression before any work began. Limited review evidence makes the overall picture unclear.

Staff at the Waterbury showroom turn routine product selection into a personalized design service, with named consultants like Alison Theriault and Christina Fay earning repeated praise for listening, suggesting improvements, and keeping timelines tight. Problems do occur, but the team fixes them within 48 hours, and reviewers consistently return. The business stocks premium plumbing fixtures, tile, and cabinetry across multiple showrooms; most work involves design consultation rather than installation contracting. One issue with delivery specifications suggests the order-taking process could be clearer, but this is isolated among hundreds of satisfied transactions.
Most reviews highlight Johnny's responsiveness, design skill, and reliable installation work on kitchens and vanities. A small but serious complaint raises warranty follow-up and communication breakdown after a defective quartz countertop installation.
Sharon Fleming and the showroom staff earn consistent praise for expertise, patience, and thoughtful product guidance that helps customers move from overwhelmed to confident. Yet the business is hampered by product durability issues, fulfillment errors that repeat even after corrections, and occasional staff conduct problems that leave customers who spend $20,000+ feeling disrespected.
Staff members like Anthony, Carlos, Marilyn, and Karen help customers navigate fixture and material choices with patience and expertise. The showroom displays multiple options in one place, spec sheets support contractor coordination, and repeat customers trust their recommendations for anything from single toilets to full renovations.

Staff at Bender's Norwalk location guide customers through fixture and tile selection with genuine design expertise, not just salesmanship. Named consultants including Jay Rivera, Jen Balash, Nicole Carpenter, and Brandon Duryea stand out for balancing product knowledge with attentive listening, catching details like coordinating finishes and working with contractors. Follow-up is consistent: emails answered same day, quotes explained line-by-line, and when a vendor ships the wrong item three times, the team keeps pursuing the right part until it arrives. Orders stay on schedule, and the showroom stocks enough depth that most bathroom projects can be completed in one place. The experience feels less transactional than collaborative. Reviewers mention staff helping them think through design choices they hadn't considered, connecting with their architects or contractors to confirm specs, and treating small orders with the same care as full renovations. Delivery arrives on time. Prices are stated upfront without surprises.
John Russell delivers full bathroom renovations that stay on schedule and budget. His work quality and willingness to adapt to homeowner needs, combined with a fastidiously clean job site, earn strong loyalty from repeat customers.

Both five-star reviews praise the team's professionalism, knowledge, and ability to meet deadlines. Limited evidence; only two reviews available.
Reviewers consistently praise Huntington Glass for professional work and fast service on shower doors and glass repairs. One older complaint cited a missed callback, but most describe reliable, knowledgeable staff and a business they return to over years.
Tom and his team deliver skilled custom work on decks, cabinets, and additions with strong follow-through on schedules and inspections. One recent reviewer flagged payment practices, suggesting holding funds until completion is prudent.
Torrco's showroom staff, particularly Alex and Carol, excel at walking first-time remodelers through fixture selection and design decisions under time and budget constraints. Reviewers consistently cite lower pricing than local competitors, direct delivery, and ongoing email or phone help after purchase. One customer arrived to find the showroom unexpectedly closed, though such instances appear rare against the wider pattern of strong availability and responsiveness.
