What reviewers think

Most reviewers praise Ernest and his crew for professionalism, timely work, and reasonable pricing. However, a meaningful minority report serious problems: incomplete work, delays stretching months beyond schedule, water damage from poor installation, and unresponsive follow-up when issues emerge post-completion.

The gap between five-star and one-star reviews suggests inconsistency in execution or accountability. Kitchen and bathroom work appear to carry higher risk; recent five-star reviews focus on professionalism, but the most detailed complaints involve bathroom installations (shower wall failure) and kitchen quality (cabinet doors, hinges, corners).

Based on limited recent reviews, so treat this as low-confidence.

Questions people ask

Does Ernest handle design ideas or just installation?
Yes; reviewers specifically praise Ernest for listening to design input and offering suggestions to improve projects. One reviewer called him "your guy" for artsy and eclectic designs.
What happens if something goes wrong after the job is done?
This is a weak point. One detailed review describes a shower wall failure within two years and repeated failed promises to return for repairs or caulking work.
Are projects usually completed on schedule?
Most recent reviews report timely completion. However, older reviews cite significant delays: one 3-month project took over 7 months, and another required additional follow-up visits to fix issues.
