Best tile & flooring work businesses in Connecticut

Why it ranks first

Robinson's built a 146-review track record on the kind of hands-on ownership that's rare at this volume: the crew handles tile, carpentry, electrical, and fixture work under one roof, with the owner personally checking progress on site. Customers who've called them back for multiple projects over the years point to consistent quality as the reason.

Pros

• ✓Owner checks in on progress and adjusts to client preferences
• ✓Covers tile, carpentry, electrical, and fixture work in one crew
• ✓Competitive pricing for the Connecticut market
• ✓Clean worksites and reliable scheduling

Why it ranks second

First Choice runs specialist crews for electrical, plumbing, and tile phases rather than one generalist doing everything, which reviewers credit for the showroom-quality finishes they describe. • ✓Separate specialist crews for tile, electrical, and plumbing phases
• ✓Customers can source their own tile and vanity materials
• ✓Design consultation and floor-plan drafting included
• ✓Daily cleanup and furniture protection during work

Why it ranks third

Alex and his crew stand out for catching structural problems, uneven walls, plumbing conflicts, original construction defects, before they become bigger issues, then tiling around them without shortcuts. Pros

• ✓Precise tile installation on leak-prone showers and tub surrounds
• ✓Diagnoses hidden construction defects before they cause problems
• ✓Handles complex reconfiguration like wall removal and plumbing relocation
• ✓Fast turnaround with same-day consultations available
