What reviewers think

Across dozens of jobs, customers consistently report arriving installers on schedule and leaving sites clean. Art, Sergei, and the two-person crews work fast and explain what they're doing-reviewers mention walk-in shower conversions that arrived as promised, window replacements that brightened homes, and staff who proactively fix warranty issues before being asked. The experience feels premium; one customer noted the quote was higher than competitors but trusted the trade-off.

Staff names appear regularly in reviews, suggesting continuity and pride in the work. Project managers follow up the same day. A customer in a recent five-star review received a replacement shower part next morning. While not the cheapest option available, buyers consistently feel they got what they paid for.

GN Construction, General Contractor Home Remodeler Hartford CT

4.5(22)✓ Google-verified

Most reviewers praise GN's timeliness, skilled crews, and clear updates across full renovations and multi-room projects. One major complaint: a 2-year-old bathroom remodel dispute involving a disputed $40K deposit, refund denial, and claims of poor design consultation and inflated vendor pricing. The business generally delivers strong craftsmanship and reliability, but deposit practices and upfront planning merit careful attention.

Three reviews offer limited insight. A recent job involved precise pipe cuts but took longer than expected, and the reviewer found the West Hartford location cluttered with abandoned goods and misplaced stock. Earlier feedback points to convenience but also flags staff rudeness and slow responses to complaints.
